National Aeronautics plus Space Administration (NASA) aims to place the first woman on the Moon or even next man by 2024. The particular mission is under NASA’s Artemis program which will help in exploring Moon’s surface as much as possible and create sustainable quests to the Moon by 2028. The study attained from the Moon will work as being a building block to explore Mars in the future.
The program is an attempt to place human presence on the moon plus revive the American space plan. The Artemis mission is named following the twin sister (goddess of the Moon) of Apollo, the mission that will put Neil Armstrong on the celestial satellite.
What they intend to attain?
During the program, scientists uses the Moon’s surface as an anatomist field of study and exercise living in space before taking one particular step closer to Mars. A few of the major findings of the research will be the way the human body reacts to the long stays of spaceflight, creating habitat plus living on surfaces foreign in order to us.
How it will be achieved?
The Artemis program is going to be carried out in two parts. Very first, Artemis I will be launched without a team. This will be done to test the Space Skyrocket and Orion spacecraft together. Artemis II will be a test flight using a crew ahead of the final launch Artemis III which will put the first lady or the next man on the Celestial satellite by 2024.
Another objective of the space program is to be familiar with water history on the moon. For this, scientists aim to explore the Southern Pole of the moon.
Earlier, NASA called out the creators all over the world to develop a toilet that can work on future lunar lander spacecraft and not just within microgravity. The winner of the best-designed toilet for moon will get a whopping 20,000 dollars.
