The Delhi govt has sought suggestions from various stakeholders including students, teachers plus principals about the roadmap for reopening schools post COVID-19 lockdown.
An online suggestion form continues to be put up on the website associated with the Directorate of Education, where students, their educators, principals and parents can give their particular inputs, an official statement said.
Respondents submitting useful and out of the box suggestions is going to be invited to share their thoughts along with Education Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia through online platform.
The dialogue sessions will be centered on how each stakeholder views the particular challenges and opportunities created by COVID-19 situation, constraints we are likely to encounter in times to come and steps that should be taken from now onwards to create a good education set up that ensures fair quality learning and well being of most children in post lockdown stage,” it added.
Universities and schools across the nation have been closed since March 16 when the central government announced the countrywide classroom shutdown as one of the actions to contain the COVID-19 outbreak.
Later, a nationwide lockdown had been announced on March 24, that has now been extended till Might 17. The Delhi govt has already announced summer vacation in the schools till June 30.
