The Central Board of Secondary Schooling (CBSE) will conduct the remaining exams for Class XII within the first two weeks of July, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on Friday.
The federal government, sources stated, has determined that Class XII board exams ought to end earlier than JEE (Essential) is carried out. The entrance test for admission to NITs shall be held over 5 days between July 18 and 23. CBSE has been requested to wrap up its remaining papers earlier than that. The Board will announce the detailed schedule for every paper within the subsequent few days.

On April 1, CBSE had said that it will conduct exams for 29 subjects out of the roughly 90 that had been left across the time the nationwide lockdown was imposed. For Class X, solely exams for college students of north-east Delhi, who couldn’t seem for the examination as a result of riots, shall be held.

For Class XII, CBSE will conduct exams for Enterprise Research, Geography, Hindi (Core), Hindi (Elective), Dwelling Science, Sociology, Laptop Science (Outdated), Laptop Science (New), Info Apply (Outdated), Info Apply (New), Info Know-how and Bio-Know-how. Other than this, all of the exams that Class XII college students from north-east Delhi couldn’t take due to the riots, can even be held. CBSE can be working to renew analysis of reply scripts, which was stopped in March as a result of lockdown. It has determined to ship reply scripts to the examiners at house.
The outcomes for the exams carried out from July 1 to 15 is more likely to be introduced in August earlier than the Indian Institutes of Know-how (IITs) declare the benefit checklist for JEE (Superior). JEE (Advanced) has been scheduled for August 23.
