Apple’s iOS 13.5 makes it simpler to unlock your iPhone while wearing the mask

Apple on Wed released the public version of iOS 13.5, which makes unlocking your own iPhone while wearing a face mask simpler. This is an important update for those, specifically frontline health workers, who invest the majority of their time wearing encounter masks.

If you use the iphone with a built-in Face ID, the particular update bypasses the Face ID function in order to speed up the unlocking procedure.  Sure, you will still have to need in order to enter your passcode to unlock your iPhone, but a minimum of it will cut down the time to unlock the apple iphone. Once again, just to clarify, Face IDENTIFICATION is available on select few apple iphones, starting with the iPhone X.

The update is already live. You can set up iOS 13.5 by starting the Settings app and likely to General > Software Update.

In conjunction with that, Apple also pushed a brand new COVID Exposure Notification feature within iOS 13.5. The software that will use Bluetooth technology to allow public health authorities build applications to alert people who have been in near proximity with someone who has been examined positive for the novel coronavirus. Each Apple and Google are involved in coronavirus contact tracing software. At the moment, nearly 22 countries on five regions have requested access to its software program. You can find this feature in Settings > Privacy > Health > COVID-19 Exposure Logging.

Last but not least, iOS 13.five also fixes annoying Group FaceTime feature: the auto-resizing tiles. “This update also introduces an option to control automatic prominence of video tiles on Group FaceTime calls and includes bug fixes and other improvements,” explains Apple on its iOS support page.

In individual news, Apple rumoured augmented truth (AR) glasses have reportedly leaked out. They are speculated to cost $499 and work with prescriptions.
